Popped into Jack and Alice, Tring, for lunch. Very disappointing! I had the duck flatbread, which was a small amount of shredded duck with some greenery. I had to ask for a steak knife to cut through the bread. When even that didn't manage it I ate it as a sandwich! Expensive at 8.20! My friend was disappointed with her "tasteless" pancake! Service was slow and one of the water glasses was dirty! They had had a fire in the kitchen earlier in the morning, but I doubt if things would have been different. Nice decor!
Very nice light lunch. Service good and efficient. Price reasonable. Recommend to friends.
Absolutely great place to hold a party...everything was made so easy for us,staff were brilliant worked very hard,well done to them for making our night go with a bang! Would recommend to everyone
A fantastic little wine bar, cafe, brunch place in Tring. We went in the evening for a glass of wine before dinner and then the next day for brunch. Both times they were great and the food was amazing. I had to change my order because they didn't have any Vege sausages, which meant going for a much less healthy baguette....but it did taste good
Cosy place feels nice. Coffee good, cakes and the scones especially (see pic) were pathetic in size. Overall way overpriced, 13 for the below. Shame as was hoping for better considering the choice we have here.
