DO NOT USE PICTONS SOLICITORS LLPWe used Pictons around a year ago for a straight forward buy to let purchase with no chains either side.There communication level is 0, they never respond to emails, they never call you back and when you do eventually get through they blame low staffing levels, staff off sick, staff on holiday, totally unprofessional. They have a separate complaints department who are also a total waste of time, we had no response from them or any Partner or Director who works for Pictons until we were 5 months in, we are still waiting for Siobhan Rooney to get back to us, she also did not respond to emails or phone calls, when she finally did she said she needed two weeks to look at the case, two weeks have passed and she hasn't got back to us.I don't want to go into our case too much but felt the need to write this review as they have given us the worst customer service we have ever experienced.Please look at other Google reviews as they are also very bad, if I could have given them 0 I would have done.I left this review on their Facebook page a year ago and still to this day they never came back to us to apologise.
Pictons were employed by the vendor of the property I am in the process of buying. Their incompetence slowed the purchase down by 4 months.The vendor sacked Pictons and went with a better solicitors. After 6 weeks we are now about to complete. I would avoid using Pictons.
I wish I hadn't have 'Pict-on' this solicitors! I've never dealt with a slower collection of individuals in my life... and I spent the last two summers herding a group of geriatric, three toed sloths through the rainforest. On skis. Avoid at all costs.
