Both myself and my partner had our eyes tested today. Great staff and good tests to check our eye health and sight. Love the selection of glasses and with a 2 for 1 on most spectacles this is a great offer. We had a lovely girl called Amber help us choose glasses and she was honest and a pleasure to be around.
I was able to use the Hearing screener service on a tablet for my daughter which they give to children below 18 years as our local doctors would not give her a hearing test, it showed she could not hear all the tones as a mother this was what I was saying to my doctor. After getting this result I was then able to get a nurse, doctor and hospital appointment she has glue ear so I advise parents to take an alternative route if you get no where with your gp.
Had an fitting appointment for a trial for contact lenses. The shop even phoned me the day before to confirm the appointment. When I got there they went through a load of the same tests Id had 4 weeks earlier in my eye exam. The optician then tried to sell me a whole months supply without me even trying them. Then when we did get round to trying them she said they didnt have my prescription and would have to order them in. Being as Id waited 3 weeks for the appointment they should have had them. No apology they just tried to fob me off saying the appointment was just to measure my eyes, Id only had an eye test a month ago and she didnt do anything that hadnt been done then. Dont treat people like idiots.
Ended up with a new pair of glasses that my left eye is blur. I went back they told me to go make a diabetics exam, did it, nothing. Everytime took a month to see someone. They wasted NHS money and I have no glasses - or better I have them in a drawer getting dust.
Had my eye test at the appointed time.Can get busy,which is a sign that customers are happy with the service they receive.I certainly was.Plus,less expensive than some other local opticians.
