Isolated and windswept with sensational views of the surrounding countryside. There is a small car park at the bottom and it is a good starting point for a walk along the Ridgeway. If you a photographer it is good at either sunset or sunrise. There are several trees up there that have been pushed to the side by the exposed position. Sometime you will see deer up there.

Great views and a fine place to start a walk to ivinghoe beacon or maybe on the Ridgeway Tring or up the valley to Ashridge
hiking in pitstone hill in a foggy day. Got off the Tring train station, walked along ridge way to the pitstone hill. The fog made a mysterious atmosphere.
