I went to see Katherine just a few weeks before my wedding in a bit of a panic. I wasn't happy with some alterations done by another seamstress but Katherine was very calming and assured me she would be able to fix it. Not only did Katherine put right the previous mistakes but she managed to make it look better than I had dared hope. I am now a much calmer bride!

Amelia George Bridal was the first shop I visited when wedding dress shopping and it was a great experience. Katherine is such a lovely person and really makes you feel special when trying on dresses, but importantly was not at all pushy. She took the time to really listen to what I wanted. I had a festival style outdoor wedding so it was really important to me to have a boho style dress that fitted with the theme and Katherine defnitely took the time to pick the most suitable dresses for me as the third one I tried on ended up being my dress! I knew from the second I tried it on that it was the perfect dress for me, it was absolutely beautiful and I instantly couldn't wait to wear it on the day. I then went on to have 3 fittings, each of which Katherine was so helpful, understanding and calm, making it a lovely experience for me and my mum who came to each with me. Katherine is clearly an extremely skilled seamstress as my dress needed several alerations, including removing the whole train, and the end result was the most perfectly fitting and comfortable dress. I think the fact Katherine does her own alterations is a big advantage for any bride, it makes the whole experience more personal and ensures you feel completely comfortable with any changes made to your dress. In summary, I cannot recommend Amelia George Bridal enough, she has a beautiful and varied collection and is great to work with!
