OK car wash...nothing brilliant
Appalling service, avoid at all costs!! I paid 20 for the gold option, which includes a full valet and outside wash. On returning to my car I noticed instantly that a large portion of the outer plastic film had been removed from the bonnet. When I told the man who had washed my car that this damage was not there before the wash he proceeded to tell me aggressively that 'I would not have been able to see that damage before because the car was too dirty'. There was no way this could have been the case, so I asked to see some CCTV footage and if i could contact the manager. I spoke to the manager of the car wash on the phone, who was initially co-operative and apologised, saying he would check the footage and get back to me... A week later I had still not been contacted, so I phoned him again calmly asking if there had been any progression. This is where I received instant abuse with him telling me he checked the CCTV footage and the damage had already been there. I knew this was not the case so I asked if I could have a photo or some proof of this.. The answer was no. He then proceeded to tell me he had checked my MOT records of my car and that it had failed due to body work damage?! - this is not the case, it had just passed an MOT and has only very minor scratches. He continued to aggressively shout down the phone telling me he had driven all the way from his home in London to check the CCTV and that i was so ungrateful. At this point I felt extremely upset and angry, he was making up the most ridiculous lies and I couldn't get a word in. It is the worst customer service I have every experienced - I went to this car wash due to it being associated with Tesco so I thought I could trust it. But after such a horrible experience of being shouted at repeatedly and lied to, I would really urge people not to use this car wash.
